Foxwood cabinetry is never mass-produced, all work is built per individual order and assembled by skilled craftsmen. Foxwood offers you the option of using conventional lumber or FSC-certified lumber. Whichever option you select for your project, the basic types of cabinet construction is the same.

Box Construction:
Cabinet boxes are constructed with 3/4” furniture grade veneer core, formaldehyde free, plywood with solid wood and plywood cleats, hangers and stretchers. Dado joints are used to “lock” together all structural componenets of each cabinet. Joints are secured using wood glue and 1 1/4” staples. Face Frames are fully glued to the cabinet box.

Face Frame Construction:
Foxwood cabinets are manufactured using face frame construction and are assembled using glue and pocket screws. Cabinet Doors are available in “Standard Overlay,” “Full Overlay” and “Flush Inset.”

Interior Hardware:
Foxwood provides the interior hardware for drawer slides and door hinges of the highest quality to provide the maximum support and function for each cabinet piece. So, each time you open and close a door, or pull open a drawer, the hidden hardware works smoothly and effortlessly . . . it’s all in the details.

Millwork

Foxwood can produce a wide range of customized decorative trim and millwork for any project:

• Wall Panelling
• Tongue & Groove Ceilings
• Cabinet Crowns
• Window and Door Casings
• Box Beams, to cover steel and drywall construction

All millwork and trim can be custom built to your specific wood species and choice of finishes.

Finishes

Our cabinet finishes are all individually customized to compliment the wood species and cabinet styles for your project. All paint, stains and glazes used by Foxwood are water-based products, low in V.O.C. content and are environmentally friendly.
